UPCYCLING

These decorative soft furnishings were created by upcycling a Royal Blue Chiffon & Diamante saree. I maximised the use of fabric, gaining 3 separate items- a cushion & 2 wall hangings for a coordinated style.

Within the scraps of this saree were leftover Paisley motifs that I cut out & appliqued onto curtain Tie-backs

This fireplace was originally white & in need of much TLC. It was left outside gathering dirt & damage, tucked away in a secondhand depot.

After thorough cleaning & sanding, I painted it dark grey before carefully painting the low relief designs in gold, giving it an antique appearance to match my lounge.
